Storage Facilities

Many of our customers use our storage facilities for long term storage solutions, alongside our order fulfilment service. However, our storage facility is, in fact, extremely flexible and some just rent a shelf or a rack and we simply charge a percentage accordingly for the space they use.

Whether you’re looking to de clutter your office or just find some space for your archiving boxes or actually completely empty out all the stock from your existing storage facility and move it to dry, secure, insured premises that have CCTV cameras, then we can certainly offer you the security and perfect conditions to store your valuable goods in.

Trying to scrimp costs on storage can really be a big mistake. We had a customer who was storing books in a barn for a couple of months and unfortunately all the books curled up due to the humidity in the storage facility. Equally we had a customer who had a product shelf life of beauty products and cosmetics and these items cannot be exposed to light and also must remain at a particular temperature. With our unpredictable weather either subjecting your stock to freezing cold conditions or the searing heat in summer, it is wise to make sure that your valuable goods are well looked after.

Our storage facility already has racking which is clearly numbered and identified per shelf by an actual letter. If you were to store goods yourself you would need to obviously ensure you had substantial and suitable racking for this purpose. Our storage facility comes with this already supplied.

The number and letter coding on our racking is to ensure an extremely quick and efficient picking process when we are either picking orders for our order fulfilment customers or locating stock for customers that use our facility long term for items such as archives. We know exactly where every single item is at any given moment. We also know exactly what value each item is and we also insure the goods fully to that value.

It can be a false economy taking on storage space that is simply just a shell because not only do you have to buy your racking and trolleys to get your stock in and out, you also have to make sure you have a reliable electricity supply, fire alarm and make sure your goods are insured not to mention accessibility to ensure vehicles can easily deliver goods in and collect goods out.

With our storage facility you don’t need to worry about anything, in fact, you just call us and ask us to make sure an item is taken out of storage ready for you to come and pick it up (or and drop it off) with us. We’ll even load it in or out of your car from the loading bay so you don’t even have to get out of your car.
