Stock Management

Our stock management service actually works in unison with our storage facility management system. We have developed some software called Web Depot and this software is available online and it is free to use for our customers.

Web-Depot allows you to log into your account and you can see real time exactly how much stock you have in our stock facility at any given moment. You can enter orders onto the system, generate invoices and dispatch notes, all of which can be branded with your logo, notify us of deliveries as well as check tracking numbers for any deliveries we have sent out and the cost of your dispatches.

You can add stock lines to your existing stock, you can also upload photos of each stock line so that when we are picking there is absolutely no confusion as to exactly what product it is we should be sending out. This is generally just as an additional precaution because with our coding system in place errors are exceptionally rare.

Above you will see a screen print of the home page of our Web Depot system. You will see it is extremely user friendly and not only does it offer all the functions you would expect to get from a web depot system, it can also generate reports on your stock and dispatch levels so you can keep an eye on your best selling products.

Furthermore we also offer a minimum reorder level point which allows you to set yourself a reminder so you are automatically sent an email from Web Depot to let you know to reorder your stock when it reaches your re-order level.

If you didn’t want to use our Web Depot system this really isn’t a problem. If you are currently using another system, either the back end of your own e-commerce website or quite simply you’re accustomed to using a CSV file, we can certainly adapt our systems to use the methodology you’re accustomed to.

In fact, one of our customers installed their own printer on our premises and remotely printed their dispatch notes and invoices in house with us here at P&P. So, whether you wish to do it your way, our way or a mixture of both we can be very flexible in terms of how you would like to work. If you choose not to use the Web Depot system, we send you at the end of each day a full account sheet of exactly what we have sent out and the method in which it was sent, the cost of the dispatch and the tracking reference if there is one. It will allow you to keep 100% on top of your stock situation whether you’re using an automated system or not.
