About Post & Packing Warehouse Limited

Post and Packing Warehouse, or 'P&P' as we are fondly referred to, is best described as "the next generation post office".

The company was incorporated in June 2005 by my father, Mike Anderson.

Royal Mail first started closing down post offices in the late 1990's and it was at this time my father thought that, eventually, a new local postal service would be needed. Another spate of closures in 2004 underlined his thinking and so he decided to set up Post and Packing Ltd.

Mike was the ideal person to set up Post and Packing as his entrepreneurial style had proved to be very successful with his original company Versapak. Mike enjoyed national and international success with Versapak and developed a real understanding of the industry, working closely with Royal Mail in designing and manufacturing mail products and mailroom equipment.

Despite the rapid growth of Versapak, Mike had the foresight to see how the industry was changing, especially in view of all the technological developments in the communications sector - let alone the phenomenal boom of e-commerce. His foresight and knowledge and entrepreneurial experience have proved to be the right combination of skills to successfully start P&P.

The post was, is, and always will be changing. Fewer letters, more packages and, as our global communication becomes easier, business, trading and just keeping in touch with loved ones is no longer nearly as cost prohibitive as it once was.

A postal service is something we all take for granted unless it fails us. Today, Post Office mail is, too often, failing

P&P has one goal: we want to keep the post on the move and to make it even more accessible to everyone.

Our first site is based in Kings Hill, West Malling, Kent. We hope to get to everyone as soon as possible!
